Georges’ son (from an earlier “mistake”) wants to marry the daughter of a straight-laced, anti-gay politician. The politician wants to meet the “family”. Oops! Jerry Herman’s music, Harvey Fierstein’s book, two successful films and a smash on Broadway and the West End.
