They were the great shows of the past – Floradora, Chu Chin Chow, Student Prince, Desert Song – and great composers like Rudolf Friml, Leslie Stuart, Robert Stolz, Franz Lehar and Ivor Novello. The songs are superb, but the shows are never done today - the book and dialogue are so old fashioned they’d be laughed off today’s stage. So, let’s just sing the songs!
