A TRIBUTE TO BETTY

Betty Wenn was long associated with and much loved by past and present pupils of  the Wenn Stage School and the Krackers Kids Choir.  When she died in June this year many of those pupils (including some well-established West End names) wanted to do something in her memory. This is a vibrant, energetic song and dance show – giving thanks for the life of Betty. The profits will be shared between St Francis Hospice – in thanks for the superb love, compassion and professionalism found there in Betty’s last few weeks – and  Step Up - a charity supporting the families of abused children  - a charity dear to the heart of Betty herself.

BARNUM

Sideshow Theatre Company is proud to be back at the KMT presenting, for two weeks only, the 'Greatest Show On Earth'.  Barnum is a show like no other.  It traces the career of America's greatest showman from 1835 to the year he joined with James Bailey to form the world famous Barnum and Bailey Circus.   With music by Cy Coleman and featuring some of the greatest show tunes ever written including 'Come Follow The Band', 'A Sucker Born Every Minute' and 'The Colours Of My Life' this show abounds with colour, energy, thrills and spills.  Thrill at the oldest women in the world, gasp as Tom Thumb meets Jumbo, swoon at the death defying trapeze and laugh along with us at the greatest, the boldest, the biggest, the brashest show you are ever likely to see!  A must for young and old alike - a treat for all the family to brighten up the dullest of winter nights.

THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE

One of the most popular of Gilbert and Sullivan’s operas, “Pirates” has it all – a riotous band of pirates, a bevy of ladies who fall into their unscrupulous hands and a group of bumbling policemen who strive, with only moderate success, to do something about it. Here is some of the most memorable of Sullivan’s music and the most witty of Gilbert’s dialogue.  A perfect outing for all the family.

THE CEMETERY CLUB

The title of this play may not sound like much fun – but it is! It’s an uproarious play full of fun and laughter.  Three widowed ladies meet once a month for tea at Ida’s house, and then they trundle off to the cemetery to remember the good times and gossip with their late husbands.  But Sam arrives on the scene, and life for one of the widows is about to change.  This touching play about three feuding women is funny, wise, and gloriously witty.
